Of course highlighted by some of our fave Montreal artists NEGRACONDA (mex) NEGRACONDA (Hannya Danielle Torres) is a trans artist, DJ, and producer from Guadalajara, based in Mexico City. As co-founder of NACA WORLDWIDE, Mexico’s first music label founded by trans women, her work combines electronic music, club culture, and trans activism. Known for genre-blending sets that move between hard techno, Latin club, jersey club, gabber, reggaeton, cumbia, and more, she has performed at major international venues and festivals across Europe and on platforms such as Rinse FM and Foundation FM. A key figure in Mexico’s queer underground scene, she is also recognized for her pioneering role in Guadalajara’s ballroom and drag communities, creating safer spaces and advancing visibility for diverse identities.
